For Class 6th Registration 2021-22

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Application Form 2022:

  • The process for submission of application for the JNV Selection Test has been simplified through the online process.
  • Go through the prospectus before you apply.
  • Registration can be done free of cost through the admission portal of NVS linked through www.navodaya.gov.in .
  • The eligible candidates have to fill up the online form and upload the certificate with the photograph along with the signatures of both candidates and his/her parent/guardian.
  • Submit a self-declaration certificate that needs to be produced for uploading the application form about the category.
  • Candidates are required to mention the date of birth in the figure and in the numeral form However, if the exam conducting authority comes across any miss-match in the date of birth mentioned in the documents, then the form will be canceled.
  • Mention permanent identification in the application form.

JNVST 2022 Exam Pattern:

Exam Pattern for Class VI:

  • The question paper has comprised of 80 questions overall.
  • The questions have consisted of mental aptitude (non-verbal reasoning), Maths, and Hindi language.
  • Attain the maximum marks for qualifying in the examination.
  • The admission is based on the ranks achieved by the candidates.
  • There will be no negative marking for any of the incorrect answers.
  • Only 80 candidates can seek admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya after passing JNVST 2022.

Exam Pattern for Class IX:

  • The question paper will appear in English/Hindi languages only.
  • Answer in the OMR sheet only.
  • Prepare for subjects like Mathematics, General Science, English, and Hindi.

Navodaya Vidyalaya 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates from the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is opened apply for admission.
  • In those districts where JNV is opened, the old boundaries of the district will be considered valid for seeking admission.
  • If a candidate claims for the rural quota then he/she must have studied in classes III, IV, V from some rural established school.
  • Those who are taking education from NIOS National Institute of Open Schooling must show their rural status certificate issued by BDO/District Magistrate/Tehsildar.
  • Candidates must have successfully passed classes III, IV, V in earlier years without any gap.
  • The candidate’s age must be between 9 and 13 years.
  • There will be no proviso of a candidate to get selected in the test a second time in any of the situations.
  • 75% of seats of the district will be meant for candidates belonging to rural areas and another 25% for candidates belonging to urban areas.
  • The candidate who has not been promoted and admitted to Class-V before 15th September 2021 is not eligible to apply.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission Exam Pattern:

  • The selection test will be of two-hour duration from 11:30 am to 01:30 pm and will have 3 sections with only objective-type questions. There are 80 questions in all for 100 marks.
