About RIMC

The entrance exam for the Rastriya Indian Military College (RIMC) is one of the most difficult and competitive tests in India. It takes a lot of planning and hard work. The RIMC is an elite school known for its rigorous academic program and strong focus on discipline and physical health. Rastriya Indian Military College is a “Category A” institution that is run by the Director-General of Military Training at Army Headquarters in New Delhi. It is an Inter-Service Institution. It is based in the state of Uttarakhand, in Dehradun. It sends young boys in the country to school and gives them training to help them grow in all ways. The goal is to send these boys to NDA/NAVAC. The school’s curriculum is run by the CBSE board.

The school exclusively admits Class VIII. RIMC accepts students between January and July. It’s the only institution in India that gives Board examinations twice a year for grades 10 and 12. Only men can enter. 25 Union students are selected each term.

Application Process of RIMC

Eligibility

Only 8th graders can get into RIMC. Usually, one opening is given to each state. But in some states with a lot of people, there are up to two open seats. (Maximum openings per Term are 25). Candidates who are girls can now join the RIMC. All India-wide, there are 5 spots open for girls. Application Form & Prospect

The Prospectus is a document that From the RIMC in Dehradun, you can get an application form and a booklet of old test questions. The candidate must send a self-addressed envelope and a demand draft made out to “THE COMMANDANT RIMC DEHRADUN” for Rs 600/- (for Gen) or Rs 555/- (for SC/ST). The stuff that the speed post needs will be sent back by RIMC. There is also an online payment method. You get a brochure and old test papers from the last 7 years along with the form. The announcement about the application form is in national newspapers and on the internet.

Make sure you have access to good tools that cover the whole RIMC curriculum. Also, there are numerous coaching institutes from which assistance can be obtained.

Books that you should read for the RIMC Exam/Best Books for the RIMC Exam

The RIMC is a very difficult test. It is better to be ready for everything. The NCERT basic books for grades 7 and 8 are a must. For 8th grade math’s, the book by RD Sharma is a good recommendation

The English test has questions about writing, grammar, unknown sections, and letter writing. In addition to basic books on language and reading comprehension, it is best to look at question banks from the last 10 years.

The GK paper covers the science and social studies of 7th and 8th grade, as well as current events from those grades. Students must look at the question bank from the last 10 years and also keep themselves up to date on what’s going on in the world for at least the last year by reading newspapers and books about current events. Here are some books that can help you get ready for RIMC:
